Stars defenseman John Klingberg helped Sweden claim the gold medal at the IIHF World Championship on Sunday.
Sweden defeated Canada in a shootout and secured a 2-1 victory when Henrik Lundqvist stopped Mitch Marner on the final chance of the shootout.
Klingberg had two shots and had 43 shifts for 26 minutes, 10 seconds of ice time in the championship game.
Russia won the bronze medal in with a 5-3 victory against Finland earlier on Sunday. Valeri Nichushkin was dynamic for Russia in the third-place game and had a trio of assists for the Russians.
Julius Honka closed out a strong tournament for the Finns in the loss and had two shots in 17 minutes, 29 seconds of ice time.
