FRISCO, Texas — The Dallas Stars play their fourth preseason game tonight and play the Colorado Avalanche for the second time.
After taking a younger group to Denver last week, the Stars have some of their big names in the lineup this evening. The top line of Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin, and Alexander Radulov will play their second game, while Ben Bishop will make his second start of the preseason.
The Avalanche are bringing some of their better players to Dallas. Matt Duchene, Nathan MacKinnon, Mikko Rantanen, Nail Yakupov, and Semyon Varlamov are on the game-day roster, and that’s a good thing according to Ken Hitchcock and it’s going to be a nice opportunity to test some of those players pushing for a roster spot.
While Bishop will start in goal, Kari Lehtonen is expected to play on Tuesday against the Minnesota Wild.
