DALLAS — Radek Faksa will return to the Dallas Stars lineup after missing back-to-back games with a lower-body injury.
Faksa skated each day this past weekend and said he felt better each day. He’ll center a line between Devin Shore and Patrick Sharp against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Tuesday.
“He skated well yesterday and said he’s ready to go this morning,” Stars coach Lindy Ruff said. “He’s a big man, he’s heavy on the puck and plays against their best players. He’s one of our better defenders when it comes to playing in our own end.
With Faksa back in the lineup the Stars will scratch Curtis McKenzie and move Lauri Korpikoski to the fourth line.
Seguin celebrates
Tyler Seguin is celebrating his 25th birthday on Tuesday and the team sang happy birthday on the ice during stretches.
While the rest of the team had a break, Seguin had a busy weekend and played in the All-Star Game in Los Angeles and had travel complications on Monday and missed practice.
