The Dallas Stars lost to the Edmonton Oilers 7-1 on Tuesday, in a game that may have been the low point of the season.
The Stars fourth line was the only group that seemed to care in the loss, and Dallas used two goalies for an NHL-leading 13th time this season.
Dallas did however make a move for the future and agreed to a deal with free agent college defenseman Gavin Bayreuther.
The #Stars have come to terms with UFA defenseman Gavin Bayreuther from St. Lawrence University, expected to be official tomorrow.

Bayreuther is a left-handed defenseman with some offensive upside. He’s 22 and will likely join the Texas Stars on an ATO for the remainder of this season before his entry-level contract kicks in next season.
