Stars forward prospect Riley Tufte had his best game of the season on Friday as Minnesota-Duluth tied Merrimack 5-5.
Tufte had a goal and two assists, including an helper late in the third period to help the Bulldogs tie the game with 1:15 remaining.
Here are highlights from the game, Tufte’s goal is the last one in the clip.
Tufte is off to a nice start this season with five points in five games. He’s been playing top-line minutes for the Bulldogs and has been a key on the power play. The 19-year-old is still eligible to play for the Americans at the World Junior Championship and is looking like a prime candidate for selection.
